This screenshot clearly illustrates that Gwennis' skill in Herbalism is 92, and picking Bruiseweed requires an Herbalism skill of 100, yet she was very much able to pick this herb.
Anyone else notice any strange herb or mining skill issues like this?
I totally noticed this while herbing in the lower levels. I thought that they had made it kinder and gentler for the lower levels and forgotten to fix the tooltips. However, at the upper levels, the displays appear to be accurate.
ReplyDeleteShe isn't tauren? They have 15 extra skill that might not be displayed there. Although I think they should be. But apparently skill tooltips have been an issue recently, I know some LW-patterns say they require 425 skill when they actually require 525 skill for example.
ReplyDeleteYay! Good to hear. I hope they get around to fixing it eventually though. Thanks, Zelmaru.
ReplyDelete@Zinn Nope, Gwennis is a Dwarf with no affinity to picking herbs other than because they are pretty and smell good and can be made into ink.
ReplyDeleteYes, I spotted this a few times when levelling a herbalist after 4-oh-something-or-other. While it was nice to discover that I could snarf plants I'd thought unpickable, I do hope fixes for this are included in 4.0.6
ReplyDeleteMe too! While it is nice to be able to pick something that you didn't think you could, I now find myself questioning the tooltip all the time. I've been making treks up mountains, past baddies, across rivers just to be absolutely certain that I can't pick the herb over there.
